Mission Statement
Transition Homeless Project is dedicated to relieving poverty and homelessness specifically offering support to young people (18 -25) and single women in the local community. Our mission is to facilitate a supportive environment that encourages a transition from poverty or homelessness to financial stability, and empowerment to advance independent living.
Through comprehensive support and guidance, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, offering tools and resources that prevent homelessness and pave the way to long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
In light of the growing challenges caused by the UK’s cost-of-living crisis, we aim to minimise the risk of homelessness and minimise the number of rough sleepers in London.
Our Services Include:
- Weekly Soup Kitchen – Providing nourishing meals to those in need.
- Medical Checks – Offering basic healthcare and medical support to rough sleepers.
- Housing and Financial Advice – Helping individuals navigate housing options and secure stable accommodation.
- The Transition Programme: Offering careers advice and support to help individuals find employment and gain financial sufficiency.
Through these initiatives, our mission is to provide more than just immediate relief, we offer hope, care, and a pathway to a better future for the vulnerable.
