About Us
Who Are We
Transition Homeless Project is a non-profit organisation based in North West London. We are committed to transforming the lives of individuals experiencing poverty, at risk of eviction, homeless or rough sleeping. Our soup kitchen is available for anyone experiencing poverty or homelessness. We also provide a women’s only service for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
- Preventing homelessness on the streets.
- Providing hot meals and a safe hub.
- Assisting vulnerable groups facing poverty or unexpected homelessness including care leavers and women in the community.
We particularly address the causes that push women into homelessness, such as domestic abuse or mental health. We provide trauma informed care offering a safe space, empowerment and support for individual needs.
Women are often invisible ‘hidden homeless,’ they tend to sofa surf, or sleep in hidden places. We offer a service for women as they encounter extreme dangers whilst rough sleeping.
Tailored support is available to help individuals gain confidence and skills for employment by providing careers support and workshops.
Our support is long-term helping individuals to transition towards a brighter future and thrive in the community.
